TESCO has submitted plans to redevelop its store on Old Kent Road, following consultation with the local community over the last 18 months.

The plans will upgrade the existing supermarket with a new store for shoppers, offering greater choice in an improved shopping environment, as well as new community space and individual shop units. The development will also provide new homes above the store, including much needed affordable housing for local people. This scheme will positively contribute towards the wider regeneration of the borough and help support programmes that are already being taken forward by Southwark Council.
